Still Smiling Fall Shows

Hey Champs,

I’ve updated the home page with my fall shows, just click on the Smiley logo at the top. Started playing new places with my band at C-Boy’s Heart & Soul for Chicken Sh*t Bingo this year and at Junebug’s BBQ at the new Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg. I’ll also be back at Longhorn Cellars Winery in Hill Country this fall playing solo.

Nothing new on the grant front or the transitional challenges, just wanted to post and let everyone know that I’m still here, still smiling, and still free. I’ve been overwhelmed by the continued support fundraising, to fight, and to advocate for the restoration of my baby boy, Diego’s knowing and benefiting from a relation with both parents in both homes.

It’s been my pleasure and honor to play for a community that gives back so much to its musicians. There is really no other place in this great country of ours that provides such respite in trying times. I get to play my first HAAM Day at ABIA, Tue, Sep 23rd for a great cause, to donate to a wonderful organization that has helped me get by for years now. I’m extremely privileged to be able and willing to give my time to play for them and y’all. God bless country music, and God bless Texas.-Smiley
